Product strategy, product design, UI/UX for decision optimization, learning complex subject matter fast, the ability to take a product from idea > design > production/engineering > QA > release. I like Adobe Illustrator, but I use a host of other tools and I’m pretty good at learning how to use whatever tool is needed to speed things along.

ORSNN, Seattle, Oct 2020 – Current
Currently working on creating a marketplace for whole loans across all asset classes that will create unprecedented liquidity in the United States’ secondary debt market.

Uber, San Francisco, January 2019 – Sept 2020
I designed Data & Product platform tools that empower Uber’s many data scientists, analysts and ops folks to harness Uber’s data to make better business decisions, faster. During this time I created a rich data table component (with full fledged filtering functionality!) for Uber’s BaseWeb, and it is the single most-used data viz component in this design system.

dv01, New York City
Product Design Lead & Data Visualization Specialist, October 2016 – December 2018
I designed tools to make structured finance data easy to parse. Early on at dv01, my focus was in the consumer unsecured space, for which I designed tools for investors to analyze the performance of pools of whole loans, securitizations as well as credit facility monitoring and cashflow prediction tools.

In May 2018, I transitioned from being the Lead Designer to being an independent consultant, and continued to work with dv01 — helping think through and design new product features (like a super cool deal structuring tool).

Data Visualization Design Lead, January 2016 – October 2016
I created and began implementation of a content and data visualization strategy for all of the research produced by the Marketing Sciences group at Mindshare. This involved developing several data-driven dashboards and research tools, some of which were client facing.

Moody’s Investors Service, New York City
Data Visualization Associate, April 2014 – June 2015
I collaborated with Moodys’ economists to create compelling data visualizations and data-driven infographics that explain economic stories and financial trends. I’m currently focused on U.S. Public finance and sovereign economies.
